You may have noticed a super-cool, stand up bike that has been joining our wind training sessions lately.. It’s called the ElliptiGO! Both an indoor and outdoor bike, the ElliptiGO combines the best of running, cycling and the elliptical trainer to give you a fun and effective tool for outdoor training sessions. Stand Up cycling is a low-impact exercise that builds cardiovascular fitness, while being easy on the joints, which makes it great for everyone.
Now.. how can you experience it? We’ve partnered with the ElliptiGO Experiences team,Lexi and Monika Alston, who will be running morning Fun Training sessions exclusively for the TA family.
- Fun Sessions are designed to rev your cardiovascular system and build a more efficient blood-pumping “engine” and develop the muscles of your legs, glutes and core more effectively without impact.
- These sessions will be open to all TA members and are ideal for anyone experiencing a little niggle in the joints, to avoid injury and improve endurance.
- Each Fun Session will be held from 6am-7am Tuesdays are are limited to 5 people.

On another note, more exciting news racers will be happy to hear.. for each race day during the Tri-Season, you’ll be able to use the ElliptiGO for your warm-up to increase the blood circulation prior to your race and your cool-downs to return your heart rate and breathing towards resting levels gradually!
