2XU TRIATHLON SERIES - RACE #4 - ELWOOD
Finally…a summer triathlon event with some actual summer weather. Hallelujah! And not only did the weather come to play but so did the athletes. Nothing better than knowing you’re out there racing among a high-quality field and that you are earning your results. So huge kudos to everyone who took part. And whilst some may quickly look at their placing and feel a little disheartened, we encourage you to look deeper in to your results as that’s where you’ll find your improvements. Our athletes had huge PBs, so that’s a win and just as you’re improving, so is everyone else. So keep following your plan, keep consistent and keep on keeping on!
Yet again, we had over 80 athletes racing across the day, with a sea of yellow and blue covering the entire course. As I said, there were PBs a plenty, boxes ticked, athletes completing their peak weekend on the way to Geelong 70.3 and First-Time finish lines feels! And let’s not forget the HUGE support we had to lend a hand to the Kid-letes in the searing heat #TAFamily #SmilesForMiles
