PRE-RACE SESSION – St Kilda
Session Overview:
Get race-day ready with this pre-race simulation session. Designed to help you fine-tune your gear, pacing, and transitions, this session usually includes a ride along part of the bike course, a run along the run course, and finishes with an open-water swim. It’s the perfect chance to test everything you plan to use on race day.
What to Bring:
- All swim, bike, and run gear.
- Nutrition and hydration to mimic your race-day needs.
- Bags to store your belongings during the session.
Schedule:
- Meeting Point: Pier Road, near the entrance to Catani Gardens (check the red star on the map).
- Parking: If Pier Road parking is full, park nearby and cycle down—your ride will be first.
- Flow of Session: Start with the ride, followed by the run, and finish with a swim.
Important Notes:
- Keep your bags in the car initially. After the ride, meet on the grassy area near the rotunda to leave your belongings while you run.
- This session is all about preparation, so take advantage of it to ensure you’re confident and ready for race day.
