EVENT CANCELLED – Open Water Swim

Unfortunately, this Open Water Swim session at Elwood Beach has been cancelled.

The EPA has currently rated Elwood Beach water quality as “Poor”, meaning it is unsuitable for swimming. Athlete health and safety always come first.

What This Means:
🚫 No squad swim at Elwood
🌊 Please do not enter the water while the rating remains “Poor”

Alternate Options:
We encourage all athletes to find an alternative way to complete their session:
✔️ Move the swim to a pool session
✔️ Swap sessions within your week where appropriate
✔️ Replace with a wind trainer, strength, or aerobic run session if needed
