“Mentoring is to support and encourage people to manage their own learning in order that they may maximise their potential, develop their skills, improve their performance and become the person they want to be.” Eric Parsloe, The Oxford School of Coaching & Mentoring
Are you interested in getting more from your triathlon training or working closer with one of our triathlon coaches? We provide our triathletes with the opportunity to be mentored and have a coach to chat with on a regular basis.
All our coaches (and senior athletes) are available to be a mentor in your training training and racing, at no additional cost to your weekly membership.
The role of a mentor is an important one, particularly for our new triathletes. Mentors are happy to answer questions, chat in regards to your program, triathlon training and racing and help you during sessions. They can even support you to keep you on track if you need that little bit of an extra push or accountability every now and then. If you have a specific coach that you have a great rapport with or want a little more input from a senior athlete, then drop us an email at [email protected].
Remember, all triathlon coaches are there for you so do use them. Ensure to ask our triathlon coaches questions at training sessions and learn from their wealth of experience to help you become a better athlete.
