The Dandenongs are where strong cyclists are made.
This ride is designed for intermediate and advanced athletes looking to build functional cycling strength, climbing efficiency, and endurance through sustained hill work. As we progress through our Winter Training Season, these sessions play an important role in developing the power and resilience required for faster riding later in the year.
Expect a challenging but rewarding morning of climbing, with a focus on maintaining good technique, controlled effort, and efficient pacing on the hills.
This ride is suitable for intermediate and advanced athletes only.

What to Bring
✔️ 2 x bottles with electrolytes
✔️ Spare tubes, tyre levers and CO₂/pump
✔️ Nutrition appropriate for your ride duration
✔️ Mobile phone and some money
Important Notes
- Lights are compulsory.
- Tri-Alliance cycling kit is compulsory for visibility and safety.
- Athletes should ride within their ability and look after fellow riders throughout the session.
- Check your training program and newsletter for any specific route or workout instructions.
