Honours Board: Tri-Alliance Award Winners
At the end of each season – athletes, coaches, friends and family gather together for the social event of the year – the Tri-Alliance End Of Season Presentation Night. It is a time for the Tri-Alliance Family to celebrate the achievements of all athletes and provide recognition to outstanding athletes with coaches awards, social awards and the coveted ‘Zoolander Award’ up for grabs.
John Cornish Award
In May 2011, Tri-Alliance introduced the Inaugural JC Award (Tri-Alliance Scholarship) – nominated by Tri-Alliance Coaches and awarded to an athlete to help achieve his/her goals in the upcoming season. The Scholarship is awarded to an athlete who has displayed the following characteristics during the triathlon season: dedication, consistency, personal bests and exceeding expectation.

Long Course Athlete of the Year
Awarded to a male and female athlete for their achievement in either Long Course, Half or Full Ironman Distance Races during season. This award is based on outstanding performances, results, dedication, overcoming obstacles and/or hardships in achieving their race goals. Well done to all our male and female award winning athletes.

Short Course Athlete of the Year
Awarded to a male and female athlete for their achievement in either Mini, Sprint or Olympic Distance Races during season. This award is based on achievements such as podiums, improvements over the season, personal bests and dedication to their training and racing.
